gathers personal data and uses and processes the stored data on the Ekwus website for the justification, realisation and processing of my user relationship. Personal data are stock data, for example name and address as well as usage data such as a member name, password and IP address.

I agree that messages - in particular advertisements - may be sent to me by Ekwus, Ekwus partners and Ekwus premium partners to my Ekwus mailbox.

I agree that Ekwus gathers my data of utilisation, among others with the help of cookies, that it processes and uses them, for instance in order to allow me to manage my Ekwus member account as well as my personal settings.

I agree that Ekwus may make my member's name basically accessible to all visitors on all Ekwus websites.

I agree that Ekwus processes and uses my personal data for Ekwus marketing measures, for example for the sending of e-mails with general information or advertising content (newsletters). I understand that I have the option to cancel this information mail-out at any time.

I agree that Ekwus, as far as it is necessary in particular cases, in the event of actual indication that is to be documented, may use and process stock data and data of utilisation which are necessary for uncovering fraudulent activity behind content uploaded on the website or other usage of Ekwus services in an illegal manner or in one that is in violation of contract. For this purpose Ekwus may also gather data of utilisation, among others with the help of cookies, and process and use them in such manner that, using the total of any such contents, those persons for whom there is actual indication that the content has been uploaded by them with fraudulent intent can be found.

I agree to the fact that invoices sent to me by Ekwus shall include individual itemisations, e.g. for time, kind, duration or contents of my fee-based use of the Ekwus website.

As far as the transmission of my data to third parties is not permissible on account of a law, in particular according to the Federal Data Protection Act (German Federal Data Protection Act), I agree that Ekwus,

•  as far as this is necessary, transmits my personal data to law enforcement agencies and supervisory authorities for purposes of defence against threats to national security and public safety and for the prosecution of criminal acts.
• transmits my name and my address, as far as this is required for the safeguarding of legitimate interests of a third party, to said third party. Revealing data is especially not required, and will not take place on the part of Ekwus, if said  third party could be reasonably expected to first make use of the options available on the Ekwus website to contact me or if an investigation can be or has already been initiated by a law enforcement or supervisory authority.

Our data protection officer, whom you can reach by e-mail at datenschutzbeauftragter@ekwus.de, will be happy to answer any questions you may have on the secrecy obligation. Your right to information about the data stored with Ekwus is regulated in § 34 of the German Federal Data Protection Act.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”).  Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
